‘The Office’ bids a lackluster goodbye

At the tail end of Steve Carell’s second to last episode on “The Office,” his character, Michael Scott, declares: “This is going to hurt like a motherf**ker.”

And it sure did.

As many know, Steve Carell announced his departure from “The Office,” and so, his character, Michael Scott, announced he would be marrying his girlfriend Holly Flax – played by the magnificent Amy Ryan – and moving with her to Colorado.

50 Cent shows off his ‘Gun’ and his lack of acting, writing skills

Image Courtesy — youheardthatnew.com“Gun” is a movie about how much 50 Cent knows about firearms dealing.

50 produced, wrote, and starred in the movie. Plus, the soundtrack features songs exclusively by him or his record label.

If you can get past the level of arrogance that 50 Cent gives off throughout the movie, you might think that “Gun” is a decent action film.

And although the music Enders is making right now isn’t exactly rock ‘n’ roll – it is pretty damn near greatness.

After fronting pop rock band The Early November, Enders ditched his Drive Thru Records heartthrob status – and his band – and started his solo project: I Can Make a Mess Like Nobody’s Business.

Transit might ‘Promise Nothing’ but make something promising

While many music lovers were most excited to "celebrate" Record Store Day by picking up rare vinyl from the likes of Glassjaw, Jimmy Eat World and Manchester Orchestra, a lesser-known but equally-exciting release was that of Transit's Promise Nothing.

The band has blossomed from a local Massachusetts to a wider success through relentless touring and new releases.

Although they already put out an acoustic EP, Something Left Behind, earlier this year, Promise Nothing marks Transit's Rise Records debut.
